Kidswear was letting mamas down — and we all knew it.
Every parent has been there. You spend a small fortune on a set of clothes, it gets washed twice, and the colour fades, the seams pucker, and somehow — despite buying "size 2–3 years" — it fits like a crop top on your perfectly average toddler. Sound familiar?

Puddles began in a laundry pile.
It started — as so many good things do — with a very tired mama, a very muddy toddler, and a very ruined outfit that had cost way too much to ruin that quickly.
Our founder, like so many parents, kept buying, hoping, and being disappointed. The soft-looking fabric was itchy. The "true to size" shirt was two sizes off. The "premium quality" stitching unravelled on the third wash. She'd spend evenings scrolling through kidswear shops, and mornings finding out the hard way that the photos had lied.
One afternoon, after returning yet another ill-fitting set and getting absolutely no response from customer support, she sat down and wrote a list. Not a complaint — a specification. What kidswear should be. What it would look like if someone actually listened to mamas. That list became Puddles.
We spent months testing fabrics against sensitive skin, washing sets over and over until we were satisfied, and comparing sizing across real children of real ages and real builds. We talked to mamas in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad — and heard the same frustrations everywhere. Then we built Puddles around every single one of those frustrations.
